Lap Band

There are so many advertisements on radio and television for weight loss. It must be a huge industry in our country today. I am one of those who need to loose weight, and am not prone to eating the right kinds of foods to do so. I would probably benefit from lap band surgery, as a means of controlling the intake of calories. I live in a suburb of Houston and if I were to have the procedure I would want the best, most experienced lap band Houston surgeon available.

Heating the Back Porch

My wife and I built a sun room outside our back door, on a patio slab. It is a noce place to spend the early morning or late evening during the warm months. But we do not use it much in the winter. At least we did not until two of our grandsons moved in with us. They love to play in that room, but we had no heater installed in the room. That is why we have been seeking the right propane wall heater to place out there. We have found some ideal gas garage heaters that do not require a vent, which means it will be much more affordable to install. We like the ultra slim models that do not stick out far into the room and are likely to be in the way of the boys at play.

Piano Lesons!

Archie Brown’s wife has always said she would like to play the piano. Finally for Christmas, Archie bought her a second hand piano and had it delivered to the house. Ronda was very surprised and pleased. Ardhie toel her about a place he had read about that offers a free news letter and offers Piano lessons & piano chords. He urged Ronda to check into it!

Bonded

The blog at JWSuretyBonds has some great articles on the need for dealing with businesses that are trustworthy and willing to financial pledge to demonstrate their integrity. That can easily be done with a surety bond.

Because my wife and I are planning some remodeling to our home, I read a post called “What Is A Bonded Contractor.” It tells about the protection the public receives by using bonded contractors, as well as how a contractor can become bonded.

Insurance

I am considered by the government as self employed. That does not adversely affect my ability to buy life insurance, or car insurance, or home insurance. I gladly pay my premiums on each of those policies.

But it surely does make it more costly to buy health insurance. If I buy as an individual, the premiums are exorbitant. And finding a trustworthy group is difficult. It is the reason my wife went to work for a big company that provides health insurance at a somewhat reasonable rate and gives us the coverage we need for peace of mind.

Math Tutors

I grew up not liking arithmetic and math classes. I made good enough grades because I had teachers who cared enough to help me. But I did not enjoy numbers. My grandson is eight and shows signs of the same traits. He would gain a great deal from Score Learning Centers and their Math Tutors, who not only teach math, but draw students to enjoy learning!
