This morning my wife called me to let me know she had just bought gasoline for $3.14. That is about fiftten cents less than we had seen it yesterday. But I just bought gas for $2.99. The only shame is that I am excited to pay that much!

Yesterday, as I was going to get a hamburger at the local Burger King, I noticed the price of gasoline at the station nearest the office was $2.65 a gallon. When I got back to the station after lunch, I saw it had already jumped to $2.75 a gallon. You could believe that big a jump in that short a period of time.
