What a Story!
I was watching the news on the television on the NBC station in Houston. There was a report that is as strange as any I have heard in a long time. A victim of a shooting four years ago. The shooter was convicted and sentenced to forty years. Yesterday he was sitting in a bar when his attacker came up to him and spoke to him. He called the police who found out that there had been a typographical error on the paperwork between the court and the prison. The sentence on the papers that arrived at the prison had left off a zero. So the man was released after 4 instead of 40 years.
The convict was picked up today and taken back to prison!
